Join Ceramic Artist Simone Linder-Patton for an exploration of Botanical designs.
Using natures own we will impress natural materials into the clay to capture the essence of plants. Soft slabs will then be formed into useable objects with your own personal flair.
This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to making unique ceramic objects using soft slabs of clay. Fresh Botanical materials will exemplify your designs bringing the outside in to compliment your piece.
Pieces will be dried, bisqued and glazed to accentuate the designs.
Participants can expect to make a range of objects for themselves or for friends and family. Hand made ceramics with a personal touch make excellent and unique gifts for any occasion.
Pieces will be available for collection within 4 weeks of the workshop date.
Please note that with all ceramic wares there is a certain element of risk of failure however, Simone will do everything to ensure that your works survive the rigors of firing.
